A lot has happened since we last spoke. I thought I would write you a letter to catch you up on a few things.
I spent a month sleeping in a stable on a farm in Gillingham, getting lambing and calving experience. It was one of the most valuable experiences of my life and I gained so much from it.
I finished college and won an award for Commitment to the Countryside Management Industry. I really wish you could have been there to watch me receive it.
We scattered you off the side of a lifeboat along with Nanny Crossley. It was a really fun experience being launched down the slipway, although I was holding on for dear life. I can't believe you used to do that all the time and it made me really proud of you.
I gained some more qualifications to help me along my career. My favourite one being my Tree Felling qualification. I can now fell trees up to 15 inches in diameter.
I spent last summer working as a Beach Ranger on Studland beach. It was a fun summer job, but I wouldn't want to do it full time. Too many bins and wasps! And nudists!
I am now Team Leader on a farm in Ferndown. It's a conservation grazing organisation so our cows graze all the local heathland. It's a very intense job but I'm enjoying it and always learning.
I still dream of having my own farm.
I hope you're having a good time wherever you are.
Love you always
Eleanor
