This site is dedicated to the memory of David Crossley.

This is a memorial page for our Dad David Crossley who was one of life's true heroes and sadly passed away on 2nd February 2013. The RNLI was a major part of his life and throughout the seventies was a valued volunteer crew member at Selsey Lifeboat station. He always put others before himself and helped save countless lives. He then went on to become Lifeboat Surveyor for the RNLI covering the South-West and had the sad task of surveying the wreckage of the Solomon Browne at Penlee Lifeboat Station. Dad loved his music and was always happiest when playing his cornet in a band. He was a member of MENSA and liked to relax with difficult brain-teasers. His wisdom and intellect were second to none. Our Dad inspired us to follow our dreams wherever they may take us and we will never forget him. Our Dad requested not to have a funeral but instead for donations to be made to the RNLI. Forever in our hearts love Jeannie, Peter, Hayley, Gemma, Eleanor, Denene and Karen
